今年度はパリ市と京都市の共同プロジェクトに参加していますが、そのコラボレーション作品が今、パリで展示されています。

日仏各10人の選抜アーティストの様々なジャンルのコラボ作品が並びます。2/6にオープニングパーティー、15日まで展示していますので、パリにいらっしゃる方はぜひご高覧ください。

3/25-31には東京、日本橋高島屋6階美術工芸サロンにも巡回します。

昨年5月にパリへ渡仏、7月にパリのコラボレーターが京都へ。私はヴェルサイユ宮殿やカルティエの内装なども手掛ける箔のアーティストChantalと組み、作品を作りました。

彼女の伝統的な絵画の金の額縁に私のガラスのトルソーをはめ込み、さらにガラスに金箔を貼ってもらいました。またChantalは私のガラスのピースを使って、彼女オリジナル技法でもある箔の特殊なタペストリーを制作。パリと京都で二人の一緒に過ごした時間がコンセプトになっています。

Our exhibition « Savoir-faire des Takumi » in Paris

6th -15^th, February, 2020  @ Les Ateliers de Paris

This is a collaboration project by Selected 20 artist in Paris and Kyoto.

I’m exhibiting my glass work in the Paris traditional gold frame that my collaborator Chantal made. And I gave her some my glass pieces, then she created a tapestry with them. She is a specialist of ornament guilder and works on the restoration of the Palace of Versailles etc.  

We collaborated for half year while each other coming to Paris and Kyoto.
